The temp will assist the division in producing outreach and engagement programmes to promote Singapore’s Cultural Heritage. The temp will also be part of an Engagement Project in which volunteers will interview and document heritage businesses in one of Singapore’s heritage precincts.
Assist in development and implementation of outreach and engagement programmes:
- Provide administrative and logistical support for the division’s programmes such as travelling exhibitions, launch events, digital campaigns, educational programmes, etc.
- Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders and vendors relating to the programmes.
- Manage project schedules, monitor timelines and budget to ensure timely and successful execution and delivery of programmes.
- Support the planning, and documentation of the programmes.
Assist the project team on the execution of the Engagement Project:
- Provide administrative and logistical support for the project, such as volunteer management, sourcing and booking of venues for trainings, workshops, media events and other events etc.
- Manage and liaise with volunteers including being the main point of contact for volunteers, keeping schedules, volunteers’ attendance for events, etc.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for key engagement events such as sourcing and booking of venues.
- Compile interview transcripts.
- Assist the team on any other administrative and logistic matters as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Minimally Diploma, with at least 1 year relevant experience in programmes and outreach, events management and/or volunteer management.
- Experience in the arts and cultural sector is a bonus.
Other information:
- Working days: Mon - Fri (office hours)
- As the nature of the job is event-based, there could be some instances working weekends/ outside office hours but this will be compensated with time-off.
