Sales Executive

We are seeking an accomplished Sales Executive with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the food trading industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, strong industry knowledge, and existing contacts with local distributors.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the food trading industry.
    Identify and establish connections with new clients, emphasizing local distributors.
  2. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
    Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  3. Product Expertise: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the food products in the trading portfolio.
    Effectively communicate the unique features and benefits of the products to clients.
  4. Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, showcasing the value proposition of our food products.
    Address client queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  5. Negotiation Skills: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
    Navigate pricing discussions and handle contract negotiations.
  6. Sales Reporting: Provide regular and accurate sales reports, including sales pipelines, forecasts, and achievements.
  7. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and dynamics.
    Identify new business opportunities and potential areas for expansion.
  8. Trade Relationships: Leverage existing contacts with local distributors to enhance market penetration.
    Develop new distributor relationships to broaden the distribution network.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the food trading industry.
  2. Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of food products, market dynamics, and trading processes.
  3. Local Distributor Contacts: Existing contacts with local distributors in the industry (a significant bonus).
  4. Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  5. Results-Driven: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  6. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.
  7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including logistics and customer service.
  8. Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and distributor engagements.
