As a pivotal member of our data division, the Data Program Management Lead will be instrumental in driving the success of our data projects and programs. With a dual focus on strategy and execution, this role is ideal for a dynamic leader who excels in orchestrating complex data initiatives and fostering collaboration across departments.
Major Responsibilities
· Assist the Head of Data in setting strategic program and project objectives and ensure they align with the overall data vision of the organization.
· Coordinate multiple data projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines are met and stakeholders are informed.
· Act as a key point of contact in stakeholder management, facilitating effective communication between technical and non-technical parties.
· Collaborate with product owners and senior business leaders to understand project requirements and relay those to relevant teams.
· Ensure efficient allocation of resources across projects.
· Track program and project performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
· Develop and manage program and project budgets.
· Serve as a central point of contact for project status, issues, escalations, and risk mitigation strategies.
· Work to improve existing processes and create new ones that will enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
· Ensure all projects under the program are of high quality, delivered on time, and within budget.
· Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
· Oversee vendor relations and third-party services.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in data-related roles with a good understanding of data technologies such as SQL, Big Data platforms, and Cloud Services.
· Proven experience in program and project management, ideally within data-driven environments.
· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
· Experience with program management methodologies and techniques like PRINCE2, PMP, and Agile.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
· Ability to think critically and strategically, foreseeing potential challenges and devising solutions proactively.
· Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive projects to completion.
