Portfolio Management & Analytics Division
Sitting within the Reserve Management department, the front office business analyst/product owner is responsible for
- Managing the applications and processes used for portfolio management and trading of assets managed in-house.
- Work closely with portfolio management and trading functions to understand their business requirements, translating business-to-technical requirements and vice versa
- Design, build/enhance, test, implement, and document processes/tools/systems in partnership with IT, middle and back offices as well as software vendors to support front office workflow
- Plan and work with the department and MAS-wide partners on implementing a road map of front-office workflow feature development/upgrades
- Ensure front office processes and procedures meet internal standards for data integrity, security, and audibility
- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot front office processes to ensure their smooth functioning.
- Manage project implementations with vendors, covering procurement and related administrative issues;
- Oversee change management to facilitate the users to product adoption and new ways of working.
What we are looking for:
- An undergraduate degree in business-related or IT-related fields
- Preferably 3-10 years relevant working experience, including product management/ownership or system used in similar functions, preferably in the investment or financial domain
- Strong sense of ownership and growth mindset
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with good problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of user-centric principles and/or service design
- Adept communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders across all levels
- Experience working in cross-functional groups, representing the views of different stakeholders, and influencing teams towards achieving a shared goal
