Nityo Infotech is looking for Application Database Administrator. This is a12 months renewable contract with our client.
We are currently seeking an experienced Application Database Administrator with expertise in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), particularly focusing on OpenShift and Middleware. As a vital member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing database systems, ensuring seamless integration with OpenShift and Middleware technologies. The ideal candidate should have 4-7 years of relevant experience, possess strong analytical skills, and be dedicated to maintaining high-performance database environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer relational database systems within the context of OpenShift and Middleware environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient and scalable database solutions.
- Optimize database performance by fine-tuning configurations, conducting regular monitoring, and troubleshooting issues.
- Work closely with application developers to ensure seamless integration of databases with OpenShift and Middleware technologies.
- Conduct regular assessments of database systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document technical requirements for database projects.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in database management, OpenShift, and Middleware.
- Mentor junior team members and provide expertise in database administration and related technologies.
- Participate in on-call support and contribute to the resolution of database-related incidents.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in database administration.
Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of experience as an Application Database Administrator with a focus on RDBMS.
- Proficiency in AWS and OpenShift is essential for successful integration and optimization.
