The Company

Our client is a global consulting firm working with a global bank specialized in Wealth Management. We are looking for a Financial Crime Prevention – AML / KYC Analyst with the ability to join as early as possible on an exciting 6 months project with potential of extension.


The Role

  • Support the review of Wealth Management/Private Banking STRs filed in the past by gaining an understanding of each client’s profile through the information gathered during onboarding and ongoing reviews.
  • Identify and evaluate the effectiveness of controls designed to address Financial Crime Prevention risks, provide practical, innovative, and value-added solutions to issues identified, and prepare reports of compliance testing findings for senior management.
  • Develop and draft compliance testing reports summarizing design review and testing results and remediation efforts required by line management to address open issues.
  • Help to develop applicable and appropriate compliance testing methods, processes, and templates to be used for specific compliance tests.


Requirement

  • University degree or international equivalent, with a focus in a finance or internal audit related fields.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience performing compliance testing and/or internal audit/program assessments either at a bank or a consulting/internal audit company to a bank, preferably Big 4 or similar.
  • Familiar with the products of Wealth Management/Private Banking.
  • Industry knowledge of relevant regulations, regulatory expectations, testing concepts and methods (e.g., sampling).
  • Prior experience conducting AML related investigations.
  • Well organized, especially in the areas of testing workpapers, documenting testing results and decision making, as these will be subject to review by internal audit and regulators.
  • Good team player, and ability to work independently and confidently drive stakeholder discussions.
  • Effective communication skills with all seniority levels, strong verbal and in writing skills.
