Responsibilities:
- Examining laws and regulations applicable to the Company
- Provide advisory and manage any Anti-Money Laundering (AML) queries
- Conduct due diligence checks and account/profile reviews at Client onboarding or periodically
- Review any transactional alerts or investment restrictions generated from portfolio management system
- Review marketing materials, completion of appropriate forms and account forms
- Work with relevant departments or personnel in case of customer and operational complaints
- Identify and mitigate client relationships and/or account activities that may present sanctions risk
- Conduct screenings and investigations on accounts or relationships where potential AML risks are detected
- Provide investigation findings, recommendations and follow-up procedures, where applicable
- To participate, assist or lead any compliance trainings and AML-related projects
Requirements:
- Min Deg with 5 years of relevant experience in a compliance department within EAM or Private Banking space
- Thorough understanding of both Singapore (e.g. Capital Markets Services – Securities and Futures Act) and worldwide laws (e.g. FATCA/CRS)
