Data Architect & Builder
- Conceptualize and build the data lake infrastructure, choosing and setting up robust tools and processes.
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure smooth data ingestion and integration.
- Monitor and optimize the data lake, maintaining data quality and accessibility.
Data Whisperer & Analyst
- Translate business needs into actionable data requests through close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Conduct independent data analysis, uncovering hidden insights through established tools and techniques.
- Develop insightful dashboards and reports, clearly communicating data findings to different audiences.
Data Champion & Evangelist
- Champion data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
- Train and empower others to interpret and utilize data effectively.
- Stay at the forefront of data trends and technologies, proposing and implementing advancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in data analysis and reporting, with a proven track record of success.
- In-depth technical knowledge: proficient in SQL, data warehousing and lake technologies, scripting languages (e.g., Python, R), and data visualization tools.
- Project management skills: able to plan, execute, and deliver projects from start to finish.
- Strong communication and presentation skills: both written and verbal, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills: able to identify data anomalies, troubleshoot issues, and find creative solutions.
