MAIN PURPOSE:
- Conduct seed molecular genetic testing in row crops.
- Collaborate with global platform functions to ensure strong partnership and knowledge exchange to enable successful delivery of strategies.
- Understand customer and stakeholder needs to work towards exceeding their expectations driving a customer centric mindset.
- Assure quality enables supply and delivers products that comply with business, regulatory, and customer specifications.
- Prioritizing and defining Quality strategy and projects with regional seed technology & platform lead as well as with global plotform leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of genetic purity testing using protocols defined by global platform functions.
- Ensure timely data reporting as per defined TAT by Product Supply Service Level Agreement
- Responsible for general lab equipment maintenance and lab areas, support in inventory management for overall operation effectiveness
- Work with Global platform functions for validation and implementation of new test protocols.
- Support new QC test and validation as per Global Quality Testing platform.
- Participate in Continual Improvement projects and implement best practice.
- Ensures compliance with all existing Safety, BioSafety, QMS and Stewardship standards
- Promote quality culture in all lab operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate (B. Sc or technical school) level
- Good understanding of technical aspects of laboratory procedures such as DNA extraction, PCR
- Software skills: Lab Information Management Systems (LIMS), lab data analysis software, Power BI
- Good self-organization, planning and communication skills.
- Able to work under time pressure, sense of urgency and accuracy.
