Our client, a Global MNC, has an opportunity for a Winner to join the Team as a IT Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional requirement specifications and/or tender specifications
- Conceptualize and recommend technical solutions to support the business requirements
- Work with Procurement to issue tender, evaluate proposals and award project tender
- Play the role of project manager to manage the Project Budget and the Software Development Life Cycle (“SDLC”) of assigned project(s) / Change Request(s) from initialization to closure
- Work closely with vendors to ensure successful software system delivery
- Prepare and/or verify the functional and technical documentations provided by the vendors
- Write test specifications and conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Deploy and implement or promote release to production environment
- Lead and manage a team of members
- Able to perform system troubleshooting; and
- Work in a team providing 24x7 system support
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Information Systems or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience in mobile app.
- Proficiency in programming (Java, JavaScript, Angular, Unix Shell Scripting), relational databases and related SQL scripting (Oracle, SQL, MySQL)
- Knowledge in Agile Methodologies, Scrum knowledge of software best practices, such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) will be an advantage
- Experience in Tomcat, Active MQ, Kafka, SonarQube and Azure Cloud will be an advantage
- At least 2 years of team management experience
