Responsibilities:
- Strategic Program Leadership: Take ownership of our clients' strategic initiatives and programs, working closely with senior leadership to define objectives, scope, and success criteria.
- Consultative Approach: Apply your consulting background to provide strategic guidance and insights, aligning programs with industry best practices and market trends.
- Program Planning: Develop comprehensive program plans, outlining goals, timelines, resource requirements, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues proactively, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure program success.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Resource Allocation: Oversee resource allocation across programs, optimizing the utilization of talent, technology, and budget to maximize program effectiveness.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement robust program performance measurement frameworks, regularly tracking and reporting on KPIs to stakeholders.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts, facilitating organizational readiness for program implementations and transitions.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain program quality by establishing and enforcing best practices, standards, and methodologies.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO, fostering innovation and the adoption of industry-leading practices.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of program managers, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, or other related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 8-10 years) as a Program Manager in a consulting environment with a focus on strategic initiatives.
- Strong understanding of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically when necessary.
- Expertise in stakeholder management and the ability to build consensus among diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving successful program outcomes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- PMP, PgMP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration software (e.g., Microsoft Project, SharePoint, JIRA).
- A strategic thinker with a track record of delivering results on complex and high-impact programs.
