- To see that the prescribed quality control measures are implemented and maintained throughout the life of the project.
- Monitor project progress and escalate if any significant impacts of out-of-scope aspects, and seek relevant guidance from the inline manager.
- To assure that each individual understands his/her own responsibilities of those whom he/she is working
- To utilize skills to run multiple projects as efficiently as possible.
- To liaise with all the material suppliers and sub-contractors and to ensure all supplies and works are completed on time.
- Plans all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.
- Obtains all necessary regulations and permits.
- Orders necessary supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.
- Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.
- Manages site engineers and oversees their work.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate across teams, customers, and specified project designers/developers
- Should have the ability to work on tight deadlines.
- Good leadership skills and the ability to present a professional image to inspire and guide the new team members.
- Writes and submits testing and inspection logs, quality assurance reports, and punch lists.
- Ensures that all local, state, and national building codes and regulations and safety precautions are followed.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and report
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
- Help prepare budgets and analyse risks and opportunities
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
