Job Description
- Industry/ Organization Type: Chemical Distributor
- Position Title: Safety Coordinator (WSH)
- Working Location: West – Tuas
- Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday: 8 am-5.30 pm)
- Salary Package: Up to SGD3500+ Allowance + AWS + Variable Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and/or review Risk Assessments and assist in identifying and assessing risks arising from the workplace
- Drive, coordinate, and implement all Workplace Safety and Health Initiatives
- Conduct Workplace Safety and Health audits and incident investigations
- Produce Site Workplace Safety and Health Reports on a regular basis
- Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and statutory requirements
- Co-ordinate Workplace Safety and Health Meetings and conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and training
- Conduct regular inspections of the worksite and recommend reasonably practical control measures at the workplace
- Maintain mandatory records and other documentation as may be required by the regulatory authorities
- Attend site inspection with a regulatory officer during the audit
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management

- Min. Diploma in Engineering or WSH Level B
- Min 2 years of relevant experience in the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental field
- Good knowledge of Government Regulations in the chemical industry
- Familiar with OSH/ ISO documentation
