Are you a detail-oriented, organized individual with a passion for ensuring a positive guest experience? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Rooms Controller at our esteemed hotel!

As a Rooms Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient allocation and management of our guest rooms. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that our guests have a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Front Office team to manage room assignments, ensuring that guest preferences and special requests are accommodated whenever possible.
- Monitor the room inventory and ensure that all rooms are properly cleaned, inspected, and prepared for guest arrivals.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability, ensuring that the Front Office staff is informed of any changes or updates in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping to prioritize room cleaning based on guest check-in/check-out schedules, ensuring that rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Assist in resolving any guest concerns or issues related to room assignments, working closely with the Front Office team to find suitable solutions.
- Coordinate with the Reservations department to ensure that room availability is accurately reflected in the system and that any discrepancies are promptly addressed.
- Keep track of room maintenance and repairs, promptly reporting any issues to the Engineering department for resolution.
- Stay updated on current room rates, promotions, and hotel policies to effectively communicate information to guests and colleagues.
- Provide exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to exceed guest expectations and ensure their satisfaction during their stay.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and reservation systems.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
