Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
- Prepare and analyse company’s profit margins and profitability and drive cross department discussions to create action plan to deal with topics raised.
- Prepare monthly reports on PPV (Purchase Price Variance), UPPV (Unplanned Purchase Price Variance) and collaborate with Procurement team to understand their pain points and drive improvements.
- Forecast capital expenditures and conduct ROI (Return on Investment) analysis.
- Monitor, analyse and set targets for key operations cost components such as scrap cost, sub-con cost, factory requisite.
- Prepare and analyse DL and machine utilization reports to monitor plant’s capacity and cost impacts.
- Understand and track amortized tooling and tooling sales performance.
- Conduct business and competitor risk analysis
Costing
- Prepare, publish, and continuously update the internal RFQ costing sheet and provide training on their use.
- Review costing sheets with Operations Managers, Account Managers, General Managers, Operations team, and Commercial team
- Prepare business case for selling price increase and collaborate with the commercial and Operations management teams to roll out strategies to address issues.
- Prepare key materials purchase trending reports and challenge GMs and related stakeholders.
- Review sales customer pipeline report and New Wins reports with the commercial team
- Track ROI of RFQ won and drive conversations on underperformance and encourage/share wins on better performance.
- Conduct should-cost analysis and scenario costing
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), product transfer, and program transfers on costing, business flow, transactional accounting, and pricing matters.
- Lead and drive annual rates for MOH (Manufacturing Overhead), DL (Direct Labor), base price to set in oracle and costing sheet.
Corporate Finance/Group Accounting
- Assist with monthly group closing and processing.
- Conduct annual reviews of customer’s credit.
- Prepare and analyse accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory aging and set challenges to each site to improve their CCC.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent professional qualifications
- More than 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or Cost Accounting in a Manufacturing environment
- Good Knowledge of ERP system
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel
