Our client, a leading buy-side firm, is looking for a driven business analyst to manage the onboarding process for portfolio managers and the deployment of new systematic equity trading and macro trading strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete project lifecycle for launching new PM Teams into production.
- Design research and trading solutions that meet firm standards.
- Educate PM teams on operating procedures and technology integration.
- Lead new strategy rollout projects internally with various departments and externally with brokers, exchanges, and vendors.
- Provide day-to-day support for operational procedures such as broker data management, compliance monitoring, and trading.
- Manage negotiations with external counterparties, manage relationships with research vendors, and oversee trading relationships.
Requirements
- Ideally software development and strong project management skills, with experience in the financial services industry.
- A degree in finance, statistics, math, engineering, or computer science is strongly desired, along with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills, time management skills, and a team attitude are essential.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, knowledge of Linux/Unix scripting (Perl, bash, etc.), and additional experience in database design is a plus.
- Familiarity with server and storage hardware standards is preferred.
- Specific experience in systematic trading is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of digital currency exchanges, liquidity providers, derivative financial products, and business operations is a plus.
