RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform assigned tasks / activities to support the operations of Centralised Business Operations (CBO) dept, which includes shared services for Business Units (ie. Personal Lines renewals reviews)
  • Assist the Section Head in leading the sections operations
  • Support the implementation of efficient and effective work systems, automating wherever possible
  • Coordinate and/or support user acceptance testing of system enhancements
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to support business needs
  • To meet service standards and measurements
  • Provide on-the-job training/coaching to team member
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, regulatory provisions and Company policies as are relevant to the role
  • Undertake any other duties as may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Diploma qualification and/or professional insurance qualifications
  • Preferably with Certificate in General Insurance (BCP/PGI/ComGI)
OTHER INFORMATION
  • At least 2 years in general insurance industry in operations capacity
  • Understanding of the insurance business
  • Good knowledge of the use of technology and automation
  • Interpersonal savvy
  • Good relationship building skills
  • Extensive knowledge of customer needs and delivery system
