RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform assigned tasks / activities to support the operations of Centralised Business Operations (CBO) dept, which includes shared services for Business Units (ie. Personal Lines renewals reviews)
- Assist the Section Head in leading the sections operations
- Support the implementation of efficient and effective work systems, automating wherever possible
- Coordinate and/or support user acceptance testing of system enhancements
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to support business needs
- To meet service standards and measurements
- Provide on-the-job training/coaching to team member
- Ensure compliance with all laws, regulatory provisions and Company policies as are relevant to the role
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned
- Diploma qualification and/or professional insurance qualifications
- Preferably with Certificate in General Insurance (BCP/PGI/ComGI)
- At least 2 years in general insurance industry in operations capacity
- Understanding of the insurance business
- Good knowledge of the use of technology and automation
- Interpersonal savvy
- Good relationship building skills
- Extensive knowledge of customer needs and delivery system
