Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day IT operations and support of database, web application servers and web servers running on various platforms, ensure optimal system uptime and availability.
- Manage IT infrastructure and vendors to support areas related to IT systems, security compliance including patching and system upgrades, business continuity and disaster recovery.
- Keep abreast of security trends to maintain high level of security of systems and data, and reduce risks to IT landscape.
- Analyse current state of IT infrastructure, service operations and solutions, recommend and deploy changes to improve performance, security, scalability, maintainability and reliability.
- Contribute to the development of the architecture roadmap for infrastructure server (hardware, operating systems, virtualisation, storage, backup, etc.).
- Provide support for related IT infrastructure incidents escalations.
- Work with vendors to implement new IT projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7yrs of IT Infrastructure relevant working experience is required, candidate with retail industry experience is preferred.
- Degree in IT or relevant field, additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, Storage, Backup, SAP Infrastructure is a plus.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, DevOps is a plus.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good written and communication skills.
