As an experienced React developer, you will join an existing program team in the EA Team in Group CTO supporting one of our strategic initiatives focused on the portfolio health.
You will:
- Help Group Enterprise Architecture team to develop our architecture portfolio health Azure based application
- Work in the development team to support the development of portfolio health insights
- Produce clear and commented code
- Produce clear and comprehensive documentation
- Play an active role with technology support teams and ensure deliverables are completed or escalated on time
- Provide support on any related presentations, communications, and trainings
- Be a team player, working across the organization with skills to indirectly manage and influ-ence
- Be a self-starter willing to inform and educate others
Qualifications
We are looking for:
Must have:
- University degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in Computer Science / Information Technology
- 12+ years of technology delivery experience in the banking industry
- Excellent experience as a React Developer/Software Engineer
- Excellent JavaScript, TypeScript experience
- Proven UI/UX skills, ideally with IT architecture visualization
- Excellent stakeholder interaction skills
- 8+ years of experience in a Scrum delivery model
- Understanding of performance implications when making design decisions to deliver perfor-mant and maintainable software
- Solid experience with multi-threaded architectures and optimised UIs
- In depth experience of Git, JIRA, GitLab
- In depth experience of working in a highly regulated environment
- Strong experience in Azure Cloud
- Excellent end-to-end SDLC process understanding.
- Proven track record of delivering complex web apps on tight timelines
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application and familiarity with RESTful Services.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Azure AKS & Docker
- Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Fortify, SonarQube, Mocha and Jest
- Knowledge of visualisation tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
- Knowledge of RDF based Graph Database solutions e.g. GraphDB, Anzo Programming in Python and familiarity with Machine Learning algorithms
- Familiarity with data retrieval with SQL, SPARQL
