Job Summary:
•Assist the Supervisor to ensure proper and efficient management of the control room in the day to day Operations on the assigned unit and oversees new implementations. Responsible for assisting the dietician and the team in providing efficient and smooth food service flow, ensure correct meal plating and belting procedure and work as a team in achieving customer satisfaction
Key Responsibilities:
•Ensure that the day-to-day operations for the control room is managed well
•Follow the procedures related to control room
•Provide excellent customer service to the stakeholders in the wards
•Attend to all stakeholders complain and feedbacks within a short period of time
•Highlight to Supervisor if there is any issue that cannot resolve within own means
•To maintain proper filing and submit the necessary report to the Management at the frequency mentioned, when required
•Have a positive working attitude with colleagues and Supervisor
•Achieve a standard set in the KPI for his/her department
•Involve in continuing professional development to maintain professional standards
•Liaise with the stakeholders in getting the related matter solved in a smother manner
•Carry out Orientation training for new staff in customer service as well as the EMOS system
•Carry out all other administrative and Operational related duties assignment that assigned by your Supervisor and the Management
•Work closely with the food service dietician and assist in planning the menus and addressing the nutritional problems of the patients.
•Ensure that all the areas of dietary responsibilities are met in a timely and sanitary manner.
•Ensure that all the prepared items are correctly served and portioned.
•Assist in assembling food trays and belting process of food service to ensure correct food is served; do all the final check-ups according to the production/menu sheets before the food leaves the kitchen.
•Assist in meal order checking and confirmation in case of contradictive amendments.
•Assist in late order meal communication and verification.
•Meet the stakeholders on regular basis and address to their nutritional concerns.
•Work as part of team to maintain amicable relation with the hospital staff.
•Maintain high level of customer satisfaction and quality standards.
•Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines correctly.
•Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Team Leaders and Supervisor
