My client is a MNC in construction industry is hiring a Electrical Project Manager to join them.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients, to define electrical project requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes and standards.
- Work closely with electrical design teams to review and approve electrical designs.
- Provide input into the selection of electrical equipment and systems.
- Ensure that electrical designs align with project goals, budget constraints, and energy efficiency requirements.
- Develop and manage project budgets for electrical components.
- Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to source electrical materials and equipment within budget constraints.
- Oversee the preparation and negotiation of electrical contracts.
- Manage relationships with electrical contractors, ensuring they adhere to project specifications and timelines.
- Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes.
- Coordinate and oversee the installation of electrical systems during the construction phase.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
- Resolve any electrical-related issues that may arise during construction.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage risks related to electrical aspects of the project.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing electrical aspects of data center/Semiconductor projects.
- Knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and standards.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with construction processes and coordination with other disciplines.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are a plus.
