We now have an exciting opportunity to join us on a permanent basis as an Account Executive within our International Trade Credit division of the Howden CAP business. The position will be based from our office in Singapore with travel to London once a quarter.
We are seeking a client-facing individual with experience of Trade Credit, ideally within the APAC market, as you will work closely with key clients across the region. Clients will include banks, financial institutions and multi-national corporations.
You will act as a liaison between clients and insurers to ensure new business, renewal and mid-term requirements are fully understood and best met through the provision of suitable cover, appropriate pricing and efficient servicing.

Key areas of focus
· Seek opportunities to grow the book of business and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities.
· Review client documentation to ensure that information presented is sufficiently comprehensive/accurate to support the quoting process.
· Collate and communicates clients’ requirements to ensure appropriate marketing of the risk.
· Liaise with and advise clients, investigating and resolving queries.
· Respond to market and third party queries as appropriate.
· Produce high quality market documentation ensuring appropriate authorisations are secured.
· Check Evidence of Cover and debit/credit notes for accuracy.
· Assist in planning the most appropriate insurance solutions for the client’s demands and needs.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with internal partners and external contacts to ensure service delivery meets expectations.
· Deal with client enquiries, renewals and mid-term adjustments.
· Work with underwriters in a collaborative manner to ensure positive results for the business and for clients.
· Foster relationships with partner organisations and engages in active networking online and in person.
You
· Knowledge of the market including an awareness of competitors, specific territory knowledge, cultural awareness.
· Strong Trade Credit Insurance (TCI) experience required. Preferably experience in placing and managing multinational / financial institution programmes.
· Able to effectively work with the UK TCI team, managing accounts whilst being conscious of the different time zones involved.
· Knowledge of the market including an awareness of competitors, specific territory knowledge, cultural awareness.
