JOB DESCRIPTION
The Account Executive reports to the Manager and is responsible for supporting the acquisition and closing of sales deals through leads mining and follow-up of leads. He/She will assume a supporting role in assisting the Manager on clients’ expectations and maintains good rapport with potential and existing clients to support client acquisition and retention.
Innovative and resourceful, he/she is well-informed of the company’s services and products as well as kept abreast with the latest development in the events industry; and leverages such knowledge to propose and tailor suitable solutions which meet clients’ requirements. He/She also possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain a good client relationship to drive strong client retention.
The Account Executive serves as the direct link between the Company and the clients from the start to the end of the project pipeline, managing their request and expectations while ensuring high customer satifaction at all times. Frequent travels to clients’ offices for proposal presentation, meetings and venue recce can be expected.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To create sales opportunities through active follow up of leads obtained through networking interactions and other various sources
- To enlarge clientele list and maintaining the clients database system
- To network and establish good relationship with new and existing clients
- To attend to new and existing clients’ enquiries and requests promptly and converting these leads to sales deals either through own or in a team
- To research regarding client’s needs and participate in brainstorming session with internal team for creative solution, costing and design that can be recommended according to clients’ needs
- To prepare event proposals including creative concepts
- Pitching and managing proposals, including presentation of sales proposal to prospective client, and follow-up to close deals in a tight timeline
- Project management, inclusive of obtaining client’s project requirements, requests and specifications, preparation for quotation and costing sheet, and to obtain contract confirmation
- Manage client relationships – analyse client’s data and purchasing behaviour from CRM, and handle any client dissatisfaction
- To brief Project team & liaise with related parties or to ensure smooth handover of project to execution phase
- To prepare documentation in support of project closure
- Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma and Degree holders of any relevant field of studies, with keen interest in Event and MICE
- Both Fresh graduates and Experienced candidates are welcome. Salary commensurate with experience.
- Good learning attitude and keen to take on new challenges
- Confident and possesses strong communications skills
- Comfortable and fluent in English speaking, not afraid of sales presentation or talking to a big group of people
- Team-player with initiative and willing to take on responsibilities
- Meticulous, resourceful and able to multi-task
- Commission and Sales Target driven
- Able to work irregular hours or on weekend/Public Holidays should the need arise
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Microsoft Words / Excel / Powerpoint)
