We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Corporate Finance for one of our international shipping client. The incumbent will be expected to support the team in raising debt financing, evaluating tenders & investments, managing loan portfolios and interest rate/other financial risks.
Responsibilities
- Assist in arranging debt funding to finance capital expenditure and working capital requirements which covers financial modeling, info memo preparation, financial structuring & analysis, financing document negotiation
- Assist in developing, acquiring, and tendering for FSRU, LNG vessel and renewable projects which includes deal structuring, counterparty and project analysis, project documents negotiation, bankability studies and execution support
- Assist in joint venture (JV) negotiation which includes valuation and returns analysis, negotiation of sales and purchase agreement, JV agreement and financing related documents
- Assist in evaluating and proposing measures to mitigate counterparty risk including negotiation of refund guarantee, letter of credit and other form of guarantee instruments
- Manage interest rate risk and other financial risks of each project or entity including putting in place ISDA documentation
- Manage existing loan portfolios and relationships with banks and other internal/external stakeholders to meet financing/transactional requirements
- Assist in forecasting and monitoring medium to long-term funding requirements of the company
- Keep abreast of ESG development and its impact on the industry and the company
- Assist in other ad-hoc projects or tasks
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting preferred
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience and with hands on experience in financial modeling
- Strong business acumen and analytical skill
- Ability to deliver high quality work under tight deadlines
- Committed, responsible, organized, meticulous and good number sense
- Team player, with good interpersonal and communication skills
