A Chinese Family is looking for a professional Live-in Nanny for their 4months+ baby.
The nanny is responsible for full nursery-duties, which include but are not limited to:
- Physical care of the children
- Taking exceptional care of baby/child (feeding, bathing, changing, dressing etc)
- Waking up and putting to sleep
- Tidying the child’s area (room, wardrobe, eating station, toys)
- Sterilizing child’s belongings (bottles, toys etc.)
- Playing with and making sure child is stimulated
- Supporting and providing activities for the development of the children
- Communication with parents on all aspects of the care of their children
- Providing well balanced and nutritious meals appropriate to the needs of the children (includes weaning)
- Cleaning and tidying the nursery, bedroom, playroom and other areas agreed with the parents
- Cleaning and tidying the accommodation provided for the nanny
- Cleaning, laundering and mending the children’s clothes and toys
- Responsibility for cleaning and maintaining household equipment relating to the care of the children
- Abilities to use all equipment related to the care of children e.g. buggies and car seats
- Travelling with the children and preparing of holidays, weekend visits, etc.
- Taking children to playgroup/nursery/school
- Taking children on outing appropriate to their age and stage of development
- Potty/Toilet training
- Implementing good sleeping habits
- Preparing for special occasion such as birthday parties
- Preparing and scheduling a child’s day (daily walks, activities, play groups etc.)
- Keeping a diary for appointments (doctor, dentist, nursery, play dates)
- Taking children to and from appointments
- Caring for children when they are sick an administering medicine
- Discussion with parent(s) in relation to time on and off duty, nursery expenses, transport and babysitting
Minimum Requirment:
- Diploma in Pre-school education or its equivalent or Degree
- Preferably holds a Certificate in Infant Care and Development or its equivalent
- Certification in infant CPR and First Aid
- Prior experience of caring for infants in private households
- Qualifications in infant/early childhood development
- Love, protect, and care for the children as if they were your own
- Commit to becoming a long-term part of the family
- Demonstrate reliability and trustworthiness
- Minimum two years’ experience in a pre-school setting
- Must be fluent in English
- Able to communicate in Mandarin is a plus
Note:
- Expected start date: Jul 2024
- 6 days/wk
- Required to sleep in the same room as the baby
