Job Overview:
As a Line Cook at The School Grocer, you will be an integral part of our culinary team, responsible for executing meal preparation tasks efficiently and ensuring the consistent delivery of delicious and wholesome meals to preschools.
Key Responsibilities:
Meal Preparation:
- Execute cooking tasks as per recipes and guidelines, ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and portion control.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and culinary team to maintain high culinary standards.
Kitchen Operations:
- Work on assigned stations in the kitchen to ensure timely and efficient meal production.
- Follow kitchen policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Quality Control:
- Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished dishes to ensure they meet established standards.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the Head Chef for immediate resolution.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient coordination during peak operational periods.

Cleanliness and Organization:
