Job Overview:
In addition to the previously mentioned responsibilities, the Operations Manager will play a crucial role in the overall success of The School Grocer by providing strategic oversight, enhancing customer satisfaction, collaborating on menu planning, managing inventory, and ensuring financial viability.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Oversight:
- Supervise daily F&B operations to ensure strict adherence to quality and service standards.
- Implement and maintain operational procedures to optimize efficiency and consistency.
Customer Service:
Uphold high levels of customer satisfaction
Work closely with the customer service team to address schools inquiries and feedback.
Menu Planning and Development:
Collaborate with the Management and culinary team to create innovative menus that align with nutritional guidelines and client preferences.
Plan special events, and promotions, and introduce new dishes to enhance the overall dining experience.
Inventory Management:
- Control inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste and optimize cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the culinary and logistics teams to ensure efficient use of ingredients and minimize excess inventory.
Financial Management:
- Monitor budgets and analyze financial data to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Implement cost-control measures without compromising on quality to maximize financial performance.
Compliance:
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with relevant authorities to maintain and renew necessary certifications.
