Job scope :
- Responsible for leading a team of System Administrators, Endpoint Administrators, and Cloud SysOps Engineers.
- Guides the team through sharing best practices, processes, and methodologies.
- Requires a hands-on approach, acting as both a leader and an individual contributor.
- Team responsibilities include change management, incident management, problem management, vulnerability management, and more.
- Possesses expert knowledge of AWS and familiarity with ITIL operational processes.
- Oversees and mentors junior engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices in managing cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Ensures prompt addressing of customer Service Level Agreements.
- Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for customers on operational issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provides coaching and guidance to the engineering team, promoting a culture of operational excellence.
- Assigns, delegates, and manages the workload of team members for effective task distribution.
- Oversees team operations related to security, vulnerabilities, and patch management, ensuring up-to-date and secure systems.
- Proactively addresses daily events, tasks, incidents, and problems to minimize operational impact.
- Leads and participates in discussions with Cloud Service Providers, OEMs, and principals to stay informed about industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, such as ITIL.
- Familiarity with IT security and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong technical knowledge in domains such as System Administration, Networking, Cybersecurity, Business Continuity, MS Active Directory & IAM, End Users Computing, etc.
- Familiarity with enterprise-class applications such as Tenable, CyberArk, NetBackup, Splunk, Palo Alto, Symantec Endpoint Protection, etc.
