We are looking for an enthusiastic Education Consultant to answer requests from parents looking for their children’s education needs and liaise with schools in Singapore.
Note: This role is suited for a stay home mom who wants to earn some extra income. It can be a 20 to 30 hour-per-week role. Flexible with timing. Can start anytime.
You will be responsible for influencing/assisting existing or potential customers to find the right education programmes for their children via Skoolopedia.com, one of the leading preschool and enrichment portal in Singapore.
The goal is to promote business growth and share with parents what and how Skoolopedia can do to help parents connect with schools.
The suitable candidate will have the opportunity to learn more about digital marketing and eCommerce. If the fit is right, it is possible to develop into a full time role.
Responsibilities
- Email correspondence to/with schools and parents’ enquiries. May need to follow up with calls to explain or clarify information given.
- Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits. Training will be provided.
- Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
- Persuade the customer to visit schools such as school tours.
- Record the customer’s personal information accurately in a systematic manner.
- Deal with complaints or doubts to safeguard the company’s reputation.
- Keep records of calls and record useful information.
Requirements
- Have the patience to follow up with parents’ childcare/enrichment needs.
- As a parent, you can relate well and connect with parents’ perspectives.
- Proven experience in a customer service role.
- Working knowledge to use Excel and Google Sheets.
- Multi-tasker with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in English and another language.
