This advertisement is for Receptionist cum Admin Assistant.
If successfully selected, candidate will be deployed in local MOE schools.

Contract Period: 01 Apr 2024 to 31 Dec 2024.
Options to extend the contract : 01 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025.
Working Hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:15am to 4:15pm, inclusive of 0.5 hr lunch break
- Fridays: 7:15am to 3:45pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Roles and Responsibilities:
Reception:
- Manage Front Desk duties with customer service mindset meeting the realist challenges and demands of a Primary School setting
- Answer phone calls, attend to walk-in visitors, takes messages, responds to enquiries and provide general useful information (in a dynamic environment where calls are volumous)
- Maintain customer related information when required, eg phone log.
- Communicate with teachers regarding parents’ feedback/ messages from phone calls or walk-in parents
- Handle daily varied demands and queries from parents/students/ vendors/saff etc
- Render first level assistance to walk-in students’ needs including sick and injured students. To escalate case to other colleagues in the office immediately if it is beyond superficial cases
- Handle/support situation when students’ vomit, soiled their clothes
- Assist student in times of need, eg lost & found items, change of uniform, locating teacher/classroom/parent
- Assist in receiving of goods and incoming mails
- Maintain tidiness of the Reception area at all times
General Admin
- Assist in the counting / sorting / packing / distribution of brochures or leaflets/items to the teachers and students
- Attend to students leaving school early
- Assist in the dissemination of information: school circulars, parents’ messages
- Manage stock of spare uniform
- Keep stock of first aid items
- Maintain the forms in the reception trays to ensure forms are current and replenished timely
- Assist in Primary One registration such as making photocopies of documents; calling parents to submit forms etc
- Support any othergeneral admin duties as and when required.
- Any other duties assigned by School Leaders/HODs/AM/OM.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum GCE “N” level
- Preferably has 2 years of relevant work experience, with an added advantage if the experience is within a school environment.
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
- Good team player with a high level of initiative
- Good customer service skills
- Mature individual with a pleasant disposition, is polite, patient, caring and positive
- Proficient in MS Office
