The School Grocer is a reputable catering company dedicated to providing nutritious and halal-certified meals for preschools across Singapore. We are expanding our team and seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join us in developing and managing a pool of preschool clients. This role offers an attractive salary package along with commission opportunities for a motivated and results-driven individual.


Job Overview:

As a Sales Executive for The School Grocer, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base within the preschool sector. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and managing relationships with preschools, promoting our catering services, and achieving sales targets. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who is passionate about promoting healthy nutrition for young children.


Key Responsibilities:


Client Development:

  • Identify and target preschools as potential clients for The School Grocer's catering services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in preschools.

Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for business growth.

Product Presentation:

  • Present The School Grocer's catering offerings in a compelling and persuasive manner.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and tastings to showcase the quality and nutritional value of our meals.

Contract Negotiation:

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with preschool clients.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Foster positive and long-lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the catering or food industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to articulate the value proposition effectively.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Knowledge of the preschool sector and understanding of its unique requirements.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

Remuneration:

Attractive base salary.

Commission structure based on achieved sales targets.
