As the SAP Implementation Consultant, you need to possess the ability:
- To code and develop SAP customized programs, reports, transactions, output forms, interfaces, etc. using SAP tools ABAP/4 Programming, SAPScript/SmartForms, BAPIs, RFCs, etc.
- To perform dialog programming, screen painting, creation of data dictionary objects (tables, data elements, etc.)
- To use other tools like LSMWs, IDOCs for data upload and transfer/integration
- To translate business requirements to functional specifications and technical specifications
- To incorporate security (authorization) checks in developed programs
- To gather and understand business requirements and translate that into functional and technical requirement specifications
- To foresee multiple scenarios in coding and testing of customized programs/reports
Responsibilities:
- To gather, document, analyze the business requirements for technical development
- To develop and test the reports/programs/transactions etc. according to the functional and business requirements
- To provide functional and technical support for the development implemented
- To conduct unit testing, integration test, user acceptance tests for development done
- To conduct user training for development done
- To specify functional and technical specifications for program/reports/forms development
- GTM knowledge and experience in ECC 6 / S4 HANA migration project will be added advantage
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant SAP experience
- Have previous experience in full project implementation cycle
- Experience in other modules of SAP ERP, BW will be an advantage
- Good knowledge of SAP functional flows (FI/CO, MM/SD, PP, PM/QM, PS), user-exits, database tables (documents and master data)
- Knowledge of SAP user authorization and Finance/Logistics modules flow will be an advantage
- Willing to learn and take on new responsibility in SAP functional modules (FI/CO/MM/SD/PP) configuration and implementation
