Responsibilities
- Responsible to raise material and equipment requisition for construction project operations team
- Administer purchasing function according to accompany procedure, which may include obtaining quotations and item details for requisition, obtain approval for these requisitions and liaise with central procurement for order
- To communicate with supplier on product availability and delivery
- Verifies purchase requisitions by project team; clarifying unclear items recommending alternatives.
- Receipt of material or accounting for deliveries and stock
- Arrange logistics to incoming deliveries
- Arrange collection of materials e.g concrete cubes
- Perform Lifting Supervision (opportunity to be trained certified lifting Supervisor
- Forklift/ Manitou Operator (opportunity to be trained certified operator)
- Administer Goods receive and entry into procurement central system before filing
- Track an arrange machinery, equipment and vehicle for preventive maintenance service and repair.
- When project site organization do not have a designated driver, task may include sending workers to and from between dormitory and project site and buying meals for workers in such situations. This may be outside standard working hours.
- To cover duty for project representation by local staff for Sunday/ public holiday work depending on specific project requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum GCE N or O level qualification
- At least 2 years’ of relevant experience in construction
- A valid class 3 driver’s license will be an advantage
- Computer Literacy
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
