Job description for Training & Development role
Curriculum Development
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine training needs, establish, develop and operationalize competency frameworks, develop training materials, and implement training programs for aspiring cybersecurity professionals.
- Develop and implement training materials and training aids for various modes of delivery such as classroom/virtual delivery and e-learning.
- Assist in performing cybersecurity research & development.
- Ensure that the training is aligned with the latest industry and market best practices and latest developments.
Training Delivery
- Conduct theory and practical training for certificated cybersecurity courses.
- Implement training quality assurance system including the Train-The-Trainer (TTT) training for quality assurance of training delivery.
- Ensure training quality of the training rolled out through gathering and tracking of feedback from participants and implementing continuous improvements.
Training Programs Administration and Management
- Manage and implement multiple training programs in accordance with business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Plan the annual training budget and training calendar for training programs and/or e-learning.
- Execute the annual training plan and programs and schemes and ensure their timely implementation within budget.
- Ensure compliance of the training administration, including documentations, with internal policies and procedures and external regulatory/certification requirements.
Business Development
- Develop partnerships with Institute of Technical Education (ITE), MILE2 training & certification provider, and/or other cybersecurity certification provider to design and deliver cybersecurity training.
- Promote cybersecurity training & certification internally and externally (channel and associate partners).
- Working closely with the sales & marketing team, in driving the marketing strategy for the training.
Requirements:
- Diploma in any discipline, preferably ACTA certified
- At least 1-2 years of experience performing training courses
- Strong planning, analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
