Job Description

  • Develop and lead membership drives, plan member events, and create and implement outreach strategies in order to expand a membership base or engage with existing members
  • Maintain regular outreach to members, ensuring strong and ongoing communication using a database
  • Develop and implement strategies for member retention, recruitment, and new member cultivation, including the creation of enticing member benefits and soliciting valuable feedback
  • Create and manage virtual resources for members, enhancing their experience and engagement
  • Represent the organization to existing and potential members, as well as in the community
  • Provide development and coordination of events and services for local strategic partnerships
  • Plan, market, and coordinate initiatives to retain existing members and drive new memberships
  • Collaborate with the country Board Members, local Partners to develop and implement strategic programs and events
  • Manage operational needs related to membership and strategic partnerships, including coordination of website content and functionality enhancements
  • Complete additional projects and tasks as assigned
  • Schedule training & workshops in countries as required, this includes the scheduling of trainers for workshops for the workshops
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
  • Experience with a membership service would be preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and lead collaborative efforts with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong program planning, implementation, and evaluation skills
  • Ability to develop and execute marketing ideas and programs for membership initiatives
  • Proficient in managing, presenting and engaging to external parties
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and accountability
  • Ability to work under pressure
