Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, Network-Attached Storage (NAS), Wireless Access Point and Firewall.
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of IT systems.
Security and Compliance:
- Monitor and mitigate cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with DHL IT Security policies, relevant data protection and industry-specific regulations.
IT Governance:
- Monitor IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Promote a culture of ethical and responsible IT use.
- Ensure IT systems and data are protected against unforeseen disruptions.
Vendor Management:
- Evaluate, select, and manage technology vendors, service providers, and third-party solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements.
- Optimize vendor relationships for cost-effectiveness and performance.
Innovation and Emerging Technologies:
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies for business improvements.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in support/project implementation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, team leadership, and project management abilities.
- IT certifications (e.g., CCNA, CISA) may be advantageous.
- Able to work under pressure and need to be on 24x7 standby either onsite or via phone for critical issues
