Responsibilities
- Ensures payments are calculated and paid accurately and timely; ensures proper calculation of taxes and deductions.
- Provides customer support to the sites including any off-cycle or replacement payments needed.
- Reviews the information prepared for general ledger entries and other accounting and financial reporting activities associated with payroll.
- Participates in the review and preparation of data necessary for the filing of payroll related tax returns and miscellaneous withholding forms.
- Completes year end process including year end adjustments, year end tax statements and review of year end tax filing information.
- Serves as an internal and external resource on payroll related inquiries.
- Participates in continuous improvement projects and initiatives; supports the development and maintenance of payroll process documentation.
- Ensures compliance with internal controls on payroll systems and compliance with tax and other payroll related legislation.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience required.
- Manage Time and Attendance (eTime)
- Handle all Payroll Transactions (well-versed in ADP & SAP)
- Payroll Processes documentation
- Prepare Reports to stakeholders (monthly and annual)
- Ensure all Payments are made in timely
- Reconciliation (monthly and annual)
- Submitting of govt claim eg: Nsmen claim, childcare leave claim, etc
- Finance accrual
- Other tasks assigned by Manager
