A Global Japanese Automotive Manufacturer with an office in Singapore is embarking on an evolving path and expanding role. The Singapore office assists the Japan Head Office in managing the Group’s interests and exposures in the ASEAN region, India and Middle East.

The Finance & Administration Department is looking for a matured and capable team player to join their growing team. As an integral member of the Singapore Office, the expectations and challenges are high but will be very rewarding and exciting for high performers.
We are looking for a Treasury Analyst (1-Year Contract) with/who is:
- 3 years in Accounting, Corporate Treasury, Finance, or a relevant role. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Excellent knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
- Experience with SAP and Bloomberg terminal is a plus.
- Team player mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Highly accurate and meticulous with numbers.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight reporting deadlines.
Possibility of conversion to permanent, subject to internal availability.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Treasury Operations
- Cash management activities, including payments, monitoring and forecasting of company’s cashflows and FX exposures.
- Executing and ensuring transactions are compliant with Treasury and Accounting guidelines.
- To evaluate, analyse & monitor hedging activities such as FX Forward deals with banks.
- To assist in the monitoring and approvals of loans and borrowings to/from subsidiaries.
- Support control & governance efforts in bank account architecture, management (e.g., opening, closing and maintenance) and banking approval matrix.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks (i.e., liquidity, FX, interest rate, settlement, investment, counterparty credit, market, fraud, project, regulatory risks) working closely with wider Isuzu Group Finance teams.
- Assist with payment runs and check bank uploads for payments are accurate.
- Plan and manage FX Netting within the Group and liaise with internal and external parties.
- Assist with ad-hoc bank mandate updates and corporate secretarial matters.
- Continuous Improvement Projects
- Opportunity to improve controls and processes across Isuzu Group’s treasury functions with new projects.
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and uncover areas for improvement.
