Job Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight:Supervise daily production operations.
Provide hands-on guidance and motivation to production staff.
- Safety and Health:Collaborate with the Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety and health standards.
- Workflow Development:Formulate and implement workflow policies to enhance efficiency while maintaining safety and quality.
- Costing and Operational Efficiency:Monitor processes and man-hours to optimize costing and operational efficiencies.
- Productivity Goals:Set productivity goals for projects and teams.
- Communication:Regularly communicate with upper management to address production issues and propose solutions.
- Resource Management:Evaluate machine resources and oversee routine maintenance for continuous production with minimal downtime.
- Collaboration:Work closely with other departments and team members to establish production team goals.
Qualifications:
- Education:Minimum diploma in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Experience:Over 20 years of experience in a similar capacity.
10 years in a supervisory position.
- Skills:Leadership qualities.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Analytical skills to identify and address challenges.
Project management skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge:Familiarity with Safety OSHA regulations in production/manufacturing.
Knowledge of ISO global standards.
Working Conditions:
- Working Hours:0800 to 1800 hr.
- Working Days:5 days a week, with the possibility of returning on Saturday for checks.
- Annual Leave (AL) Entitlement:14 days onwards.
