Roles and Responsibilities
- We are looking to hire an energetic picker to assist us in preparing orders for shipping.
- The picker will utilize requisitions and order sheets to pick a wide variety of items, place and arrange items in carton box following specific instructions, and arrange on pallets.
- The picker will check for damage, and confirm correct items and quantities are selected.
- You will operate a Electric pallet jack, maintain equipment and perform basic maintenance, conduct physical inventories and report quality variances.
- To ensure success in this position you will need to perform to a high level of accuracy.
- Top candidates will be upstanding, organized and able to perform targets.
- To support and perform Scan & Pick for Export, Wholesales and Local daily orders
- To ensure products are packed and palletized according to supporting document
- To ensure standard procedure is practiced and applied upon physical picking
- To constantly check and arrange of product storage to improve efficiency on picking
- To participate in stock-take event.
- Perform warehouse duties such as loading, unloading, manual lifting, stock taking, space allocation, scanning, picking of goods, quality control (QC), packing, taping.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged or missing inventory.
- Stack and organize large bulk items.
- Build boxes or pallets for shipment and break down cardboard for recycling.
- Place packaged items in the correct area.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisors.
- Minimum 1-2 years experiences.
- To carry out delivery of our full range of products as assigned to you by your immediate Manager
- Ensure products are effectively protected from damages during delivery
- To label and ensure labels are correctly affixed
- To assist in the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organize special requirements for certain stock, such as chilled goods or fragile products
- To ensure productivity targets are met and maintain computerized administration and automated storage and retrieval systems
- To report immediately to your immediate superior any problem encountered in the day-to-day operations
- To assist in other warehousing and/or logistic activities when necessary.
