Job Description:
· Perform practical design, drafting and modelling for structural steelwork.
· Prepare tender/submission/shop/ fabrication drawings based on the concepts given by Technical Manager and Engineer.
· Implement and improve structural steel connections design based on practical, competitive and economical approach, optimize and standardize drawing format and details.
· Assist the Company to improve drawing quality and appearance, eliminate mistake and minimize error.
· Coordinate with Factory, Site team on structural steel details and amendments.
· Visit Factory and Site when required.
· Able to undertake any other duties assigned by Technical Manager.
Job Requirements:
· Diploma or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering.
· Min. 3 years’ work experience in structural steel detailing and drafting.
· Proficient in AutoCAD, Microstation and other drafting software. Able to produce engineering drawing rapidly in advanced quality, accuracy and appearance.
· Good knowledge on engineering drawing standards and authority requirements.
· BIM experience (Tekla Structures, Revit) would be an advantage.
· Proactive, cooperative and supportive work attitude.
Work Hours: Mon to Fri, 9:00am to 5:30pm
