Roles & Responsibilities
Delivery drivers have a variety of duties in addition to driving their routes and making their deliveries. Other
important responsibilities include:
- Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
- Maintains communication with management to be informed of any change of delivery, route, or schedule
- Communicating with dispatchers, drivers, and other team members to make deliveries
- Communicate with customers by phone to update them of the time of deliveries if there have been issues or changes to their estimated time of arrival
- Meeting delivery deadlines
- Performing basic truck maintenance
- Loading and unloading
- Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed
- If not follow the basic driving rules and made accident or fine means, driver must be the responsibilty
- work start time morning 545am and daily drop points 30 to 40 location, must follow the timing customers
