To manage company's purchasing costs, for new build and existing properties under management.
Your responsibilities shall include the following areas:
- Call for quotations
- Evaluate quotations and prepare cost comparison table
- Negotiate with suppliers
- Work with project managers from pre-tender calculations to closing of final accounts, including VO costing
- Checking of contractor progress claims
- Work within budget allocated
- Attend meetings
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Commercial Management/Quantity Surveying
- Able to work independently with strong problem solving skills
- Possess sense of urgency and diligence
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications (advance level preferably)
Good to have:
- Related experience in purchasing a plus
- Possess technical knowledge in property & facilities management a plus
- Understanding of office documents and construction drawings
- Exposure to the built environment, real estate sectors
