RESPONSBILITIES:
- Lead Sales (Wholesale, Retail & eCommerce) teams and Marketing team in Singapore and set directions for regional sales offices to grow the business for ASEAN region.
- Develop strategic business plan for ASEAN Timepiece business based on HQ directives and ensure that the Company’s sales and profitability objectives are met.
- Set key business performance indicators for sales team and business partners.
- Work closely with local and regional countries’ sales managers and monitor the progress to ensure that plans are properly executed.
- Analyst market conditions and explore new business partnering opportunities to grow the Timepiece business in ASEAN region.
- Liaise with HQ and lead local Timepiece sales & marketing teams to prepare annual sales and budget plan, review and revise monthly sales forecast where necessary, monitor budget utilisation.
- Revise and take corrective actions to adjust or close gaps between plan and actual results in accordance to changes in market conditions or trends.
- Negotiate with business partners on business plans, targets and budget allocation.
- Work with local sales and marketing teams to create sales and marketing initiatives and drive positive Customers Journey Experience across all platforms.
- Prepare and summarise regional performance monthly reports to report to local Management and Japan Headquarters.
- Keep abreast of market development and consumer preferences and collate feedback to submit to Japan Headquarters for R&D purposes.
- Disseminate information from Japan Headquarters to regional offices and ensure consistency in communication and execution.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Degree in Business Administration or related fields.
- At least 10-15 years of relevant work experiences in Japanese MNCs, with 5-8 years in a senior managerial position.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, effective business advisor to Management.
- Good business acumen and related sales management experience of FMCG Electronics products.
- Strong planning and project management skills.
- Proficient in Japanese language (JLPT N1) or equivalent in order to read, write and converse fluently in both Japanese and English when liaising and reporting between Japanese HQ and its overseas subsidiaries on day to day basis.
- Translation of English reports to Japanese version is a must for management reporting purposes.
