Job Responsibilities:
- Define, design, construct, and maintain data warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to present business performance insights to management.
- Create and uphold data models essential for reporting and analytics purposes.
- Identify new features and business opportunities, contributing to the team's overall objectives.
- Construct various data visualizations to effectively communicate trends, patterns, and outliers.
- Monitor and optimize BI tools for optimal performance, ensuring seamless operations.
- Provide regular updates to customers, business stakeholders, and team members on project progress.
- Validate data accuracy for both new and existing tools.
- Offer support for upgrades, configuration, and troubleshooting of business intelligence tools.
- Take ownership of program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation processes.
- Lead in-depth ad-hoc business analysis and present findings to senior leadership.
- Modify existing reports, extracts, dashboards, and cubes as needed.
- Collect, analyze, and share data to contribute to strategic product decision-making.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of reports and disseminate information to users.
- Identify development needs to enhance and streamline operations.
- Prepare detailed specifications to guide program development.
- Lead the design and development of automated solutions for recurring reporting and in-depth analysis.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Agile methodology, Python, Cloud computing, ETL processes, SQL/TSQL, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Fluent in statistics, datasets, and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with version control systems and relational databases.
- Experience in the Apache Hadoop and Tableau R language would be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
