JOB DESCRIPTION
· Daily cutting, preparation and washing of vegetables for lunch and dinner.
· Daily cutting and preparation of fruits and dessert for lunch.
· Daily preparation of breakfast, tea and supper. Refill milk, sugar and rice containers.
· Daily blending of cooked food for residents on soft and minced diet.
· Daily collection of residents’ used crockery after each meal.
· Daily wiping of dirty dining tables after each meal.
· Daily washing of used crockery and kitchen utensils.
· Mopping and cleaning of kitchen floor twice a day.
· Daily cleaning of cooking areas and sandwich area.
· Occasional packing of lunch and dinner for temple events.
· Weekly surface cleaning of refrigerator, vegetable cold room and store room.
· Weekly soaking of kitchen crockery and scrubbing of pots and pans.
· Daily scrubbing and cleaning of cooker hood, food steamer and dishwasher.
· Weekly cleaning of food trolleys.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
· Basic Food and Hygiene Certificate.
· Able to understand instructions in English or dialects.
· Able to work shift duties, on weekends and public holidays
