Job Description
This role is to provide administrative support in managing student related programmes and examinations such as Surgery postings (Phase I, II, III & V), student electives programme (local, overseas, job shadowing, observer-ship programme), handling of education budget requests, procurement, claims, etc and collating of tutors quarterly data/reports.
In addition, this position serves to provide administrative support for undergraduate activities/events organised by the Department as well as other administrative functions of the Department.
- Manage student postings & examination
- Manage student electives programme
- Handle education budget requests, procurement, claims, etc
- Manage of education minor assets (such as iPads and Laptops)
- Collation of tutors teaching report
- Assist in undergraduate related events (such as Faculty Appreciation and Recognition Awards)
- Other administrative duties that may be assigned pertaining to undergraduate medical curriculum.
Qualifications
- Degree qualification
- Highly self-motivated individual who is independent and adaptive but can also work well in a team.
- Strong communication skills are required to liaise with academics, tutors, students and admin staffs from own and other departments
- Strong planning and coordinating skills are required in planning and coordinating posting, examination and elective related
- Good written skills to write reports/minutes and able to work effectively in teams as many UG education activities involve teamwork.
- Good project and time management skill in handling different education related postings/programme
- IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications
