The Role
The role is responsible for analyzing dental market characteristics including customer needs, identifying long- and short-term communication strategies, developing and implementing overall marketing communication plan accordingly for Southeast Asia(subsidiaries and distributors) and APAC regional key initiatives. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, T&E, sales, and regulatory affairs, to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with industry regulations.
The position play a key role in enhancing our market presence and strengthening relationships with dental professionals and stakeholders.
Based in Malaysia and collaborating with country organizations and regional team.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Establishing integrated Marketing Communication plan
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing communication plans aligned with the business objectives and brand positioning.
- Setting up the clear annual plan including new products launching activities
- Analyzing dental market characteristics, identifying key market driving forces and analysis of competitor’s promotional activities
Brand Management
- Enhance the brand through consistent messaging and creative campaigns.
- Enforce brand guidelines to ensure a unified and recognizable brand identity
Content Development
- Create compelling content for various channels, including digital platforms, print materials, and educational resources.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce content that communicates technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
Digital Marketing
- Oversee the company's digital presence, including the website and social media channels.
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation.
Public Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with key dental industry media outlets, influencers, and organizations.
- Prepare press releases and articles to highlight company achievements and product launches
Event Management
- Plan and execute relevant events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase products and build relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate logistics and ensure seamless event execution.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing communication activities, providing regular reports and insights.
- Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
The Person
Education / Professional Experience
- Educated to a degree level in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus
- Over 5 years of experiences in Marketing Communication within the medical device B2B industry. A holistic understanding of related fields, dental industry and consumable dental product background preferred.
- Proven track record in achieving objectives and targets.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfort in working within a fast-paced, global business environment is a must.
- Multinational minded individual. Fluent English spoken and written.
- Highly proficient in use of standard office software
