With reference to one of our team leaders, you will become part of our strong commercial team. The position is based in Singapore.
Trade Manager with a focus on pricing and assortment.
Your key focus will be on generating as much revenue as possible, with primary attention to our trading margins and customer satisfaction. This means consistently offering the right items, at the right price, within the right timeframe. Further, we expect you to promote our sustainable and digital offerings to our clients, and take full accountability for the commercial results of customers in your portfolio.
More specifically, your key responsibilities will be to
· Respond in a competitive and timely manner to customer RFQ’s.
· Take a data-driven approach to pricing and use group resources to grow business with clients.
· Take ownership of building rapport with clients, with the primary focus to get feedback on prices and assortments offered.
· Liaise with your team lead regarding sales forecasts and budgets.
· Ensure on-time-in-full deliveries to our customers by staying on top of communication between internal and external stakeholders.
· Take a pro-active approach in managing disputes and amicably resolving same.

Qualifications & requirements
Preferably, you have an educational background within maritime/logistics studies, with at least 2 years of experience. Moreover, we expect you to have the following qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in related field (preferred)
· Proven track record in commercial management/business development/sales support or engineer/purchasing or other related field.
· Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
· Results-driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
