Responsibilities
- Support in process improvements, customer returns, cycle time reduction and scrap reduction initiatives.
- Work closely with Process/Manufacturing Engineer to monitor and improve the process capability.
- Ensure the scrap, production yield and cycle time reduction targets are met.
- Review process issues, NCR and conduct failure analysis.
- Updating of Manufacturing work instructions/routers.
- Participate in cross-functional teams on various improvement projects.
- Conduct Evaluations/Special Build Request.
- Support QA for failure analysis and identification of corrective action for customer returns and internal CAR’s.
- Preparation of the failure analysis report on customer return parts.
- Co-ordinate and expedite First article build with Production.
- Participate as a team player in maintaining a conducive, healthy & safe work environment.
- Maintains good housekeeping, safety and discipline in work area.
- Hands-on experience in assembly of prototype module.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering is preferred.
- Min 2 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge and skill in Solidworks is an added advantage.
